Mobiles in train - annoying or inspiring?

Most of the time I find it quite annoying when people are calling in the train. It starts most of the time with an 'irritating' ringtone and then you become part - if you want or not - of their personal or professional lives ... I'll be late for dinner ... It was a boring day in the office ... That guy from the neighbours is seen with a new girlfriend ...

But today a girl was telling about her emotions & the tension for her blind date later that evening. In the beginning it felt a bit awkward but she was telling her story in such an enthusiastic way so you didn't feel like an intruder. It was quite a funny story and gave some insights about her perspective of a blind date.

The conversation also made me reflect on the fact that a mobile is quite a good time & space-travel-machine. It brings you in no time from here & now to there & then. So I got inspired to develop a mobile that helps you back to the here & now.

So from now on, I try to look at mobile-train-conversations as a way of inspiration instead of an annoying activity

... Ring ring ...
